Nasolabial folds, also known as “smile lines”, are the grooves or folds of skin that run from the side of the nose to the sides of the mouth, separating the cheeks and upper lip. It is a natural feature of the mid face that may be seen in people of all ages. However, as we age, the fat and other soft tissue that normally sits high on our cheeks start to be pulled by gravity, and gradually begins to slide down, causing a deepening of the Nasolabial folds. Filling these (not overfilling these), can soften the shadowing associated with these folds and decrease a person’s age appearance.
Vertical Lip Lines
Vertical Lip lines, also called ‘Lipstick lines’, ‘Perioral lines’ and ‘smokers’ lines’. These troublesome lines often form above your top lip, especially when volume is lost in the skin around your mouth. Natural aging plays a part in the formation of these lines, but so do sun damage and cigarette smoke. You can try to fight back with everyday anti-aging measures such as wearing sunscreen and using a good moisturizer, but those do more to prevent damage than to reverse it. They are often narrow and shallow, making them extremely difficult to correct. At Medical Aesthetics 360, muscle relaxing injections and / or dermal fillers are used to soften these lines, making people notice your smile, not the wrinkles above it!
Do you desire a less square, oval shaped face and the V lined slimmer face contour? Just with a couple of simple muscle relaxing injections, this is easily achievable. There is minimal discomfort and no down time. This treatment will also work for those that tend to grind their teeth.
The lips are often perceived as transmitters of sensual and sexual information and feelings. Even when they are not moving, the lips send a message. Proportionally projecting feminine lips are considered attractive sexually. However, our lips are particularly vulnerable to aging. Overtime, they lose volume and becomes progressively thinner. The corners can begin to droop and cupid’s bow begins to flatten. Lip augmentation and rejuvenation have become one of the most requested procedures in Medical Aesthetics 360. We can re-define the vermilion border, replace the volume, elevate the oral commissures, and correct the vertical lip lines.
Chin Reshaping / Chin Augmentation can bring balance and symmetry to your face. Dermal fillers placed in precise areas can lengthen, widen or improve projection of the chin, depending on the individual needs of the patient.
Jaw Line Definition
Please insert a picture of a older lady with jowls (half a face) against a younger lady with young smooth jaw line contour As we age, jowls or a sagging jaw line develop as a result of skeletal volume loss. At Medical Aesthetics 360, we can utilize dermal fillers to fill the sunken prejowl area to restore a natural contour from cheek to chin without the need for costly surgery. Another way to alleviate this condition is to lift the jowls with dermal fillers placed in the cheeks or along the jaw line. This procedure helps to define and shape the jawline to give a more youthful look. The treatment is non-invasive with virtually no recovery time necessary; you can resume your normal activities immediately after treatment.
Please insert a picture of a person with Beautiful jawline and neck like this one While Botox and fillers can create a youthful face, a stringy neck will give you away. Perhaps a Nefertiti lift is what you need to get a same youthful jawline as the Egyptian queen. The Nefertiti- Lift is a non-surgical lower face lift that helps to lift sagging jowls, soften marionette lines and sharpen the jaw line. Anti – wrinkle injections are used to relax some of the muscles that contribute to sagging around the jawline and exaggerate the jowls. This allows muscles on the upper face to lift the lower face creating a more defined jaw line. At Medical Aesthetics 360, we have developed and fine tuned the Nefertiti Lift by skilful placement and dosage selection, both crucial for optimum results.
