What to Expect

Once your concerns have been discussed and your skin evaluated, it’s prepped for a HydroFacial treatment. Any makeup and moisturisers will need to be removed before treatment begins. The treatment has four different stages:

  • Cleansing – During this stage, the skin is manually cleaned at a deep level, ensuring all impurities are removed and the pores are cleared.
  • Exfoliation – Next, different tips are used to exfoliate the skin. This will open up the pores and remove the dead skin cells that cause lines and a dull complexion. This stage will allow your skin to breathe. This exfoliation is a lot deeper than what can be achieved at home.
  • Extraction – During this stage, all acne, whiteheads and blackheads are removed using a gentle vacuum. If you wanted to, you could even have a look at everything that’s been extracted from your pores. This stage will leave your skin feeling smoother and looking clearer.
  • Hydration – Lastly, the skin will be hydrated and nourished using a specialised serum. The serum is designed to cling to water molecules, which plumps up and rejuvenates the skin. As your skin continues to benefit from the serum’s nutrients, a natural, healthy glow develops and remains in between treatments.

The average HydroFacial takes about 45 minutes to complete, making it easy to schedule over your lunchtime break. Patients are free to return home or go back to work directly after their appointment.
