Story
A middle-aged lady presented with a long-standing lump on the side of her head. The lesion frequently caught on her hair and accessories, causing irritation, inflammation, and occasional bleeding. Clinical assessment confirmed the lesion to be a seborrhoeic keratosis — a benign, raised growth commonly referred to as a “skin tag.”
After a careful examination by Dr Chun Yen Huang (MED0001187421), a personalised treatment plan was developed to remove the lesion safely and minimise any chance of recurrence.
The procedure was performed by a trained therapist under Dr Huang’s supervision and clinical direction, using precise removal techniques designed to minimise trauma to the surrounding skin. Healing was smooth, with minimal scarring and slight residual pigmentation that faded gradually over time.
At review, the patient reported high satisfaction with the cosmetic outcome and relief from previous irritation. The treated area remained clear, with no recurrence of the lesion.
