Ultherapy PRIME Sydney for a firmer-looking brow, jawline and neck
If you are comparing Ultherapy PRIME clinics in Sydney, the device name is only the beginning. The result and safety profile also depend on who assesses you, which tissue layer is visualised, how many treatment lines are used and whether skin laxity is really the main reason your face looks less defined.
Medical Aesthetics 360 has worked with Ultherapy since 2016—first with Ultherapy Legacy and now with Ultherapy PRIME—with more than 2,000 cases across both generations. We use the genuine Ultherapy platform with real-time ultrasound visualisation, then plan the area, depth and treatment lines around your anatomy, priorities and realistic expectations. Consult at our Chatswood clinic or Hurstville clinic. We will also tell you when volume loss, muscle-driven lines, under-chin fullness or skin-surface change needs a different or combined plan.
What affects the cost of Ultherapy PRIME in Sydney?
Ultherapy PRIME should not be priced as though every face needs the same treatment. A brow-focused plan, lower-face treatment and a more extensive face-and-neck plan involve different areas, treatment lines, depths and appointment time.
At MA360, cost follows the plan—not the other way around. We first assess what is contributing to the concern, then explain the treatment scope and provide a clear quote before you decide whether to proceed.
Treatment area and scope
A focused brow or under-chin plan is different from treating the lower face, or the face and neck together. Larger or multiple areas generally require a broader plan.
Number of treatment lines
The number and distribution of ultrasound lines—sometimes called shots—are selected for the mapped area and tissue. Fewer lines do not automatically mean better value.
Your anatomy and treatment depth
Real-time imaging helps the clinician view tissue layers and choose suitable depths and placement. Facial structure, tissue thickness and sensitive anatomy change how treatment is planned.
Starting point and expectations
Early laxity and a subtle brow goal are not the same as broader lower-face or neck softening. The likely benefit must be matched to the degree of change you expect.
Clinical judgement and safety planning
Provider experience influences assessment, imaging, line placement, comfort planning, aftercare and what happens if the expected response does not occur.
Whether another concern needs treatment
Volume loss, muscle-driven lines, crepey surface texture or under-chin fullness may need a separate option. Any addition should be clinically justified, separately consented and clearly itemised.
How to compare Ultherapy quotes in Sydney
Compare like with like: confirm the device is genuine Ultherapy PRIME, which areas are included, how the treatment lines are planned, whether real-time imaging is used, who performs and reviews the treatment, and what follow-up is included. A lower quote may simply describe a smaller treatment area or fewer lines.
The right result starts with understanding what has changed
A softer jawline or looseness beneath the chin can look simple in the mirror, yet skin laxity, facial volume, fullness and muscle movement can all play a part. Understanding the real cause is what helps a result look balanced—and helps you invest in the treatment most likely to suit you.
Start with what you see
Tell us what feels different when you look in the mirror. We then assess skin laxity, facial volume, under-chin fullness, texture and muscle movement to understand what is shaping the concern.
Look beyond one area
Your brow, chin, jawline and neck work together visually. Your natural proportions guide the areas, depths and treatment pattern so the plan feels cohesive rather than overdone.
Compare your best options
Ultherapy PRIME is not the only way to support firmer-looking skin. We compare ultrasound, radiofrequency and other approaches, then explain which option best fits your skin and priorities.
Know before you decide
You receive a realistic explanation of the change you may see, comfort, recovery, risks, review timing and personalised cost—so your decision can feel informed, unhurried and right for you.
Focused ultrasound, guided by a real-time view of your skin
What sets Ultherapy PRIME apart is the ability to see beneath the skin while planning treatment. Real-time imaging helps the treating clinician identify the appropriate tissue layer and personalise energy placement across each selected area.
Focused ultrasound is delivered at carefully selected depths to stimulate your body's natural collagen response while leaving the skin's surface intact. The change is designed to build gradually, so you can look subtly firmer and more defined rather than suddenly different. Ultherapy cannot remove excess skin or reproduce the structural change of a surgical lift.
A 2025 PubMed-indexed systematic review and meta-analysis of 42 studies reported aesthetic improvement and patient satisfaction after microfocused ultrasound with visualisation. It also found moderate pain and generally mild-to-moderate temporary effects, including redness, swelling, bruising and tenderness. Results still vary, and further well-designed research remains important. The review reported support from Merz Aesthetics and noted limitations in the available evidence, so its findings should be considered alongside an individual clinical assessment.
You can also read more about the technology on the Australian Ultherapy PRIME website.
See the treatment layer
Real-time imaging provides a view of tissue beneath the skin before energy is delivered.
Map the treatment to you
Depth and placement are selected for the area being treated and your individual anatomy.
Keep the surface intact
Focused ultrasound reaches the planned tissue layer without incisions or needles entering the skin.
Let the result build naturally
Collagen remodelling takes time, allowing your result to emerge gradually before it is reviewed.
Is Ultherapy PRIME the right next step for you?
Ultherapy PRIME may appeal if mild to moderate laxity is beginning to soften your features and you want a gradual, non-surgical refresh. It may be worth discussing when you have noticed:
- A brow that is beginning to look lower or heavier
- Early jowling or a softer-looking jawline
- Loose-looking skin beneath the chin
- Mild to moderate looseness through the neck
- A preference for gradual, natural-looking change without surgery
The best consultation is also clear about when not to treat. Ultherapy may not be suitable when laxity is advanced, when you want a surgical degree of change or when volume, fullness or muscle activity is the main concern. It is not used over open wounds or lesions, severe or cystic acne, or implants in the treatment area, and treatment must not be placed where ultrasound energy could reach the eye. We review your medical history, skin condition and previous procedures before making any recommendation.
A valuable consultation does not end with Ultherapy if something else would serve you better. If another factor is shaping the area, your doctor may instead discuss double-chin treatment, jawline sculpting or platysma neck-band treatment.
Why tightening alone is not always the most complete—or cost-effective—plan
Facial ageing is often multifactorial. Skin laxity can appear alongside volume loss, muscle-driven lines, crepiness, pigmentation or under-chin fullness. Adding more ultrasound does not necessarily correct a concern that begins in another layer.
Ultherapy PRIME supports a gradual collagen response over the following weeks and months. Where appropriate, a smaller complementary treatment may address a different concern while that response develops. The aim is not to add treatments for the sake of it; it is to give each part of the plan a clear job.
For selected patients, combining skin tightening with carefully planned volumising support or a wrinkle-reduction consultation can create a fresher, more balanced result than either approach alone. It can also be a more efficient use of budget when each treatment addresses the factor it is best suited to treat.
Ultherapy PRIME provides the tightening foundation
Microfocused ultrasound with real-time imaging may be used to support gradual firming through selected brow, under-chin and neck areas.
Wrinkle-reduction planning may provide earlier refinement
Where muscle movement is contributing to visible lines or a crepey appearance, a separate wrinkle-reduction consultation may be considered while the collagen response develops.
Volume loss may need volume—not more tightening
Hollowing or reduced facial support can make laxity look more pronounced. In the right patient, a volumising treatment plan combined with tightening may create a more rested and proportionate result.
Texture and pigmentation need their own pathway
Ultherapy does not replace resurfacing, pigment treatment or skin-quality care. These concerns are assessed separately so the plan does not ask one device to solve every problem.
Ultherapy PRIME or another tightening treatment?
The treatment names can sound similar, but the technology, sensation and ideal candidate can differ. We help you compare the options against your skin, the change you want, comfort and recovery—so your choice is based on fit, not fashion.

Thermage FLX and XERF
Consider these needle-free radiofrequency treatments when the plan calls for gradual firmness and collagen support. Explore Thermage FLX and XERF for more detail.
Sofwave and HIFU

Talk through what you want
Tell us what you have noticed and what you hope to change. We review your medical and treatment history, assess your face and explain suitable options, expected recovery and cost.
Your mapped treatment
Your skin is prepared and each selected area is carefully mapped. Real-time imaging guides depth and placement according to your personalised plan.
Return to your routine
Many people return to their usual activities promptly. Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness or altered sensation may occur while the area settles.
Watch your result develop
The treated area may look progressively firmer as collagen remodelling develops. We review your progress at the time that best suits your individual plan.
Real faces show why ageing needs more than a one-device assessment
These original MA360 cases illustrate how facial structure, under-chin fullness, movement and skin quality can create concerns that may resemble laxity. They explain why we assess the whole face before recommending Ultherapy PRIME—or a different pathway.
When structure—not laxity—is the main issue
A softer lower face may reflect reduced support as well as loose-looking skin. The assessment determines which layer needs attention.

When fullness and laxity need to be separated
Under-chin fullness can blur the jawline even when skin laxity is not the only concern. Ultherapy is not a substitute for significant fat reduction.

When movement and surface ageing also matter
Lines, crepiness and pigmentation begin in different layers. A considered plan gives each concern its own role and treatment pathway.
