Freckle Reduction & Complexion Renewal — Clear, Luminous Skin Confidence

Story

A young professional woman visited Medical Aesthetics 360° feeling frustrated by freckles and uneven pigmentation that had gradually become more noticeable over the years.
She loved spending time outdoors, but despite using sunscreen, the freckles across her cheeks and nose deepened, giving her skin a dull, uneven tone.

She explained that makeup no longer covered them easily and that she often looked more tired than she felt. What bothered her most wasn’t the freckles themselves, but the loss of radiance and clarity in her complexion.

During her consultation with Dr Chun-Yen Huang (MED0001187421), a detailed skin assessment revealed mixed pigmentation — freckles and sun-induced pigmentation across the upper cheeks and temples. Dr Huang discussed a tailored, staged treatment plan designed to gently lift pigmentation while improving overall tone and brightness.

The approach combined the precision of Pico laser and Nano laser technologies with Sciton BBL (BroadBand Light) to target multiple layers of pigmentation safely and effectively.
The procedure was performed by a trained therapist under Dr Huang’s supervision, using controlled settings suitable for her skin type to minimise downtime and maintain comfort.

Over several sessions, the freckles gradually lightened and the skin appeared more even, luminous, and smooth.
When she returned for her review, she smiled and said, “It’s like I’ve found my skin again — I still look like me, just fresher and clearer.”
