Double Chin Reduction – Defining the Health Journey

Story

This patient first came to Medical Aesthetics 360° as part of her broader wellness journey. After successfully achieving her personal health and weight goals through dedication and lifestyle adjustments, she felt proud of her transformation — yet noticed that a small double chin or submental fullness still remained.

Despite her healthy weight, the fullness under the chin persisted, which is common and often due to genetics, natural fat distribution, or skin laxity. She shared that while she felt fitter and stronger, this feature didn’t quite align with how she envisioned her new, healthier self.

During her consultation with Dr Chun Yen Huang (MED0001187421), a detailed facial assessment was carried out. Together, they discussed the available chin contouring and fat reduction options — from non-surgical approachesdesigned for gradual improvement, to minimally invasive treatments for more defined results. Each method was explained in terms of recovery, comfort, and suitability.

The aim was not only aesthetic, but holistic — to align her appearance with her health goals, enhance self-confidence, and feel that the effort she put into her wellness journey was fully reflected in her appearance.

Following treatment, she was delighted with the results. The under-chin contour became more defined, bringing balance to her profile and highlighting her jawline. She described feeling “complete” in her transformation — motivated to continue maintaining her health and feeling that her hard work had truly paid off.
