This patient presented with large xanthelasma plaques affecting both the upper and lower eyelids. Over time, the yellowish raised deposits had become more noticeable and started to affect the overall appearance of the eye area. Because the lesions were located in such a visible part of the face, the patient felt increasingly self-conscious in close conversation and photographs, and found that the area looked heavier and less refreshed.

The patient wanted the lesions addressed in a way that was suitable for the delicate eyelid skin, while also aiming for a neat cosmetic outcome. After careful assessment, our doctor recommended treatment focused on precise removal of the xanthelasma deposits while preserving as much surrounding normal skin as possible.
